Memorable Moments: Photographing a Wedding in La Crosse, WI
This wedding marked the grand finale of my 2013 season as a photographer in La Crosse, Wisconsin. As you search for Photographers in La Crosse WI, I hope you’ll consider my work—it was truly a day to remember!
The day started with a burst of energy as the groom participated in the local turkey trot at Hixon Forest. Meanwhile, at the Radisson, where the bridal party was getting ready, I arrived just in time to capture some exquisite detail shots and moments of preparation. It was a pleasure to reconnect with the bride, who had recently taken me along to Costa Rica for her destination wedding.
Everything felt familiar and welcoming throughout the day. The bride’s warmth and generosity allowed me ample time to capture each scene perfectly. Following a beautiful Catholic ceremony at The Newman Center, we explored various spots around town, including the vibrant downtown area and a charming visit to the Pearl Ice Cream Parlor.
One delightful detail of the day was the use of multiple Toyota Priuses (or Prii, as I learned!) to navigate the city. Despite the chilly weather, we managed to visit several outdoor locations before heading indoors. It was during this time that I captured a memorable photo above the La Crosse Center, creatively using backlighting to enhance the moment against the daytime sky.
The celebrations continued with an exquisite meal and lively party at the Waterfront Restaurant. The joyous atmosphere, filled with laughter and music prompting the bride and groom to kiss, made for a perfect conclusion to the year.
Reflecting on this wedding, I am reminded of the genuine connections and unforgettable moments that define each wedding I have the privilege to capture. Thank you for sharing in these memories with me.
