In this blog post I would love to talk about a couple who has turned from client to friends to family. I am so blessed to have been able to meet this couple. They had found me through a person in North Carolina, when they live in San Jose, California. They were so kind as to sign me out to Oahu, Hawaii. This California family session was done on the east coast of Oahu. We shot these pitches just before we took a nice little drive up to the villa that the couple would be getting married in and staying at the night before. The couple had no problem being intimate with each other. And the family seemed extremely relaxed in their session. Since flying me out to Oahu to take photos, I have grown a relationship with this family. They have shared meals with me, spent lots of time hiking in various cities and states. We have grown to have a shared interest of experiencing new things. The groom in this photo is an avid picture taker with a great eye for composition. Its been great to hike together and get some amazing shots anywhere from Munra Point outside of Portland, Oregon to the Stairway to Heaven in Oahu, Hawaii. In breaking bread I have had the privilege to pick his brain a little regarding life. I consider my life just starting as I turn 28 tomorrow. Now in his 40’s he considers to be just starting his life truly the way he wants it. Its been an amazing journey already with him, and I cannot wait to see what comes in the near future.
