Queenstown Wedding Photographer
This Queenstown wedding Photographer was actually very interesting. I was able to connect with the groom as he was a graphic designer in Sydney, AU. I really appreciated his simple and modest attitude when you could clearly see his design work shined in all of the wedding. I also appreciated talking with him about his motorcycle. We both have the same passions for motorcycles, that is something you cannot ignore when you meet another person like that. I really loved the house they decided to get ready at. It had paintings from Andy Warhol, with elegant touches of modern sophistication all over the place. The winters do not seem to get as cold in New Zealand so they have the benefit of full (floor to ceiling) windows in their main rooms. New Zealand was just as beautiful with amazing snowy peaks and low valleys. We took our time with the guys at the house rental before making our way down to the Bride at a hotel in the middle of Queenstown. The bride was spunky and sassy. She was the type of girl who had the beautiful face…and knew it. She never stopped smiling and quite honestly it would not surprise me if she was the life of the party when its not her wedding day. I really appreciated her father and mother as well. Her mom had the same spunk and her father a cool, calm and collective Aussie that seemed to bring such a balance to the wedding day. His quick wit kept me on my feet as I shot through the day. We made our way to their venue which was in the middle of a valley below the Remarkables. Unfortunately the weather left us without helicopters that day, but hey, we made the best of it with a drive to the top of a hill to get some amazing shots with both the Remarkables and the water to paint the background.
