Located on Portland, Oregon’s Eastside is the polished and elegant Exchange Ballroom u0026amp; Cascade
Rooftop. As your wedding guests enter the Ballroom, the first detail they are sure to notice is the
dazzling textured blown glass bulb art installation, hanging vertically in the entryway and illuminated by
the plethora of natural light that gushes from the abundant windows. Past the entrance, 6,200 square
feet of space is your oyster for your big day.
What’s inside?
The column-less space is simple yet dreamy on its own – neutral colored flooring, walls and drapes look
polished as ever paired with the stunning views of the city, including a look at the iconic Portland
landmark sign. The Exchange Ballroom can also serve as a spectacular achromatic backdrop for a more
lavish wedding event. It’s a blank slate for whatever vision you have in mind for the day you say, “I do” on your wedding day.
The space includes use of plenty of chairs and tables to accommodate up to 250 guests for a seated
wedding reception, 225 for a ceremony and seated reception, or up to 425 for a standing reception.
There are three different lighting systems in the Ballroom, and tall movable mirrored walls available that
were designed to separate the Ballroom into staff and guest areas. The Exchange Ballroom is the superb
mixture of modern design with historic framework.
The Rooftop
The Rooftop boasts a brilliant and rare panoramic view of downtown Portland from the eastside of the
Willamette River, including scenery of Mt. Hood. This sleek rooftop patio is straight up movie-level
striking. With over 2,200 square feet of space available, the rooftop is the ideal spot for a seated
wedding ceremony for up to 135 or a cocktail hour or reception for up to 140 (including all event staff). While
soaking up the spectacular views, guests can take a seat on the built-in seating around the perimeter of
the patio that’s built from sustainably harvested wood. A BBQ that’s built into the area is also available
for rent. It’s truly an unforgettable atmosphere for your perfect wedding.
