Set high above the hills of Cashton, Ridge Top Gathering Place lives up to its name — a peaceful, open-air venue surrounded by rolling farmland, long light, and a feeling of being totally tucked away from everything else. With a rustic reception hall, wide outdoor space, and sunset views for days, it’s perfect for couples who want a grounded, joyful wedding day with nature as their backdrop.

A Real-Feeling Wedding Story

Kaylee and Matt chose Ridge Top because it reminded them of home. “It’s the kind of place you breathe deeper,” Kaylee said.

Their ceremony took place on the lawn, with hay bales for seating and hills behind them. The reception followed inside the hall — wood-paneled, simple, and full of laughter. They danced under string lights, toasted with local beer, and wandered into the field for portraits as the sun dipped below the trees.
