Just outside of Green Bay, Thornberry Creek at Oneida offers a refined golf course setting for weddings that blend open views with an elegant indoor reception space. With sweeping fairways, wooded backdrops, and flexible event options, it’s perfect for couples who want an easy, scenic celebration in northeastern Wisconsin.
As a wedding photographer, I love Thornberry Creek for its natural light, beautiful sunset potential, and relaxed-but-polished feel.
A Real-Feeling Wedding Story
Natalie and Jared were Green Bay locals who wanted to keep their wedding close to home — but with a view. “We didn’t want a barn, but we didn’t want a ballroom either,” Natalie said.
Thornberry gave them just the right mix. They held their ceremony on the lawn overlooking the course, followed by a reception indoors with dark wood beams, soft uplighting, and plenty of space for dinner, dancing, and a photo booth.
We walked the cart path at golden hour, stopping for portraits along the tree line and catching a soft breeze over the green. It felt classic, easy, and joyful from start to finish.
