There’s something magnetic about the open road, the hum of a motorcycle engine, and the kind of love story that feels just as wild and grounded as the Colorado mountains themselves. Tye and Jeremy’s engagement session was more than a photoshoot — it was a celebration of their shared lifestyle, humor, and bond.
They met at a CrossFit gym called Common Fortitude, but their connection was anything but common. With a close-knit group of friends, a Thanksgiving story or two, and a full-blown chicken coop (14 hens and counting), their lives are rooted in purpose and play. So when we planned their session near Eldorado State Park, it only made sense to bring the bikes.
Riding Into Something Real
Tye rides a Triumph Bonneville and is part of the women’s motorcycle group LITA’s. She’s fierce, funny, and intentional — the kind of person who made Jeremy wait 20 days before he got out of the friend zone. And Jeremy? He only eats organic, helped build their coop, and supports every wild and grounded thing they do together.
Instead of traditional poses, we focused on motion, mood, and the story behind their ride. We let the mountains do the talking while they geared up, leaned in, and carved their own path through golden light and canyon shadows.
Why Do a Motorcycle Adventure Engagement Session?
If you’re thinking about a unique engagement session, here’s what made this one so impactful:
- It reflects who they are. The motorcycle isn’t a prop — it’s a lifestyle. The photos are more honest because the setting was authentic.
- The mountains set the tone. Colorado’s mountain backdrops provide variety, drama, and calm all at once. Perfect for storytelling.
- Movement adds energy. Whether they were laughing, leaning on each other, or kicking up dust, everything stayed in motion — and that made the stills more alive.
- It balances grit and romance. The leather, the road, the wind — it’s raw. But with the right light, it’s still completely romantic.
Planning Your Own Mountain Adventure Session
Want to do something similar? Here are a few quick tips to get the most out of it:
- Choose a meaningful location. We picked a spot near Eldorado State Park because it matched their energy and had room to ride.
- Embrace the weather and wild. Mountain shoots can be unpredictable. Go with the flow and the best shots will follow.
- Don’t over-pose. Let your story breathe. Your connection and movement matter more than a perfect shot list.
- Bring what represents you. Motorcycle, guitar, pup, hiking boots — whatever fits your rhythm, bring it.
Final Thoughts: Make It Yours
Tye and Jeremy’s story is full of grit, love, and intention — just like this shoot. Whether you ride or hike, elope or plan a big day, your photos should reflect the life you’re building. Adventure doesn’t have to be grand to be meaningful. It just has to be yours.
