From the sun-soaked Catholic ceremony at the Newman Center to the intimate reception in a historic French-inspired venue, every part of the day reflected warmth, community, and quiet elegance.

As their photographer, I witnessed not just the beauty of the setting, but the emotional richness of the people gathered. This wasn’t a production — it was a celebration of deep relationships and shared joy.

The day began at the Newman Center in La Crosse, a peaceful and welcoming space that hosted their Catholic ceremony. The couple kept the tone traditional yet personal, with handwritten vows and meaningful readings.

The priest who led the ceremony was no ordinary officiant — he happened to be a swing dancer. As a surprise to everyone, he shared a lighthearted moment with the bride during the recessional, breaking into a brief, joyful dance together.
