Set along the Rock River in downtown Beloit, Ironworks Hotel offers a stylish blend of industrial architecture and warm hospitality — perfect for couples who want a wedding that’s modern, moody, and full of character. With exposed brick, reclaimed wood, and on-site lodging, it’s a strong option for intimate weddings and creative design-forward celebrations.
As a Wisconsin wedding photographer, Ironworks is one of those venues that photographs beautifully with minimal effort — the space itself carries so much texture and tone.
A Real-Feeling Wedding Story
Claire and Devin chose Ironworks because it was “cool without trying too hard.” They didn’t want a ballroom or a barn — just a space that felt personal, a little edgy, and easy to customize.
Their ceremony took place indoors against a brick backdrop with florals in soft neutrals. The reception followed in the same space, with bistro lighting, hand-poured candles, and a dessert table that featured local pies instead of cake.
We snuck out for golden-hour portraits by the river and downtown murals, then came back in time for toasts, dancing, and espresso martinis to close out the night.
