“Anyone who thinks that sunshine is pure happiness, has never danced in the rain.”

On a hot June afternoon in La Crosse, Wisconsin, Tim and Amayrani arrived at Blessed Sacrament
Parish, where they would soon exchange vows and become husband and wife. The dramatic ceiling
archways and stunning stained glass windows of the church made for a breathtaking backdrop.
Amayrani chose a dreamy off-white strapless gown with bright white horizontal stripes, paired with a
partial hair updo and simple veil with a single stripe at the bottom for her bridal look. The bridesmaids
wore dresses in a vibrant fuchsia hue in various styles. Tim was dressed in a black tuxedo with a silk
black lapel and black bowtie paired with an off-white pocket square. His groomsmen wore the same
black suit jackets with baby pink waistcoats and matching ties, which went along perfectly with
Amayrani’s elegant bouquet of various lightly colored pink and white flowers.
After the ceremony, the newlyweds and their bridal party crew headed downtown in La Crosse for some
group photos near the scenic Mississippi River. The couple shared their love of downtown La Crosse,
including The Warehouse, where they have spent plenty of time together enjoying various shows. Before
heading to the reception, Tim and Amayrani made time to run home quickly to take pictures with their
four legged friend, Lambo, who was donning a tuxedo top similar to Tim’s.
The reception took place at the newly remodeled Maple Grove in West Salem, Wisconsin and the
delectable dinner was by Pogy’s Catering. The venue is great for couples seeking an intimate space with
their loved ones, without the distraction of other events going on simultaneously. Although we could
sense how close the couple were to their friends and family throughout the day, during the reception you
could really “feel the love” in the room. The heartfelt speeches left several in the room with happy tears in
their eyes, and when the dance floor opened, it didn’t stay empty for long.
As raindrops started falling from the sky outside, we stole Tim and Amayrani from their celebrations, hid
them under an umbrella and headed for the country road beside Maple Grove for some dramatic rain
shots. We may have been soaked by the time we headed back inside, but it was a photo opportunity we
couldn’t pass up on!
Congratulations Tim and Amayrani!
