There are couples who simply radiate joy. Tye and Jeremey are exactly that kind of couple — the kind whose energy lifts everyone around them, no matter the forecast. Their wedding at Mountain View Ranch in Pine, Colorado was a perfect reflection of who they are: grounded, connected, and completely present.
From the beginning, they embraced the day with open arms. It rained. Not a soft drizzle, but real Colorado mountain rain that called for flexibility and a bit of grit. But instead of stress, they met the weather with laughter, umbrellas, and warmth. Their laid-back spirit allowed the whole day to unfold with ease, giving us space to capture every candid, unscripted moment.
Rooted in Story
Tye and Jeremey’s relationship began in the gym — a CrossFit box called Common Fortitude. Their connection grew over group workouts, community gatherings, and a shared sense of humor (they’re both known for being hilariously late). Their bond runs deep, shaped by a circle of friends who feel more like family and a life they’ve built intentionally — including a backyard chicken coop with 14 hens and a commitment to organic living.
They told me once how it took 20 days for Jeremey to move out of the “friend zone,” a detail that somehow says everything about their intentionality. The two of them make choices with care, not rush. That quality echoed through every part of their wedding day.
A Shift in Plans, A Beautiful Outcome
Mountain View Ranch is tucked in the foothills just outside Denver, surrounded by towering pines and open skies. It’s one of those places that feels far away in the best way — remote, peaceful, and photogenic from every angle. It was supposed to be an outdoor ceremony. But as the rain came down, plans shifted inside without drama or complaint.
Instead of mourning the original plan, they embraced the beauty of the new one. The ceremony indoors felt intimate, heartfelt, and powerful. The vows were extraordinary — not just sweet, but raw, thoughtful, and emotionally grounded. I can’t wait to share their wedding film soon, which captures these exact moments.
(Stay tuned — the video will be added to this post once completed.)
Photos That Tell It All
From the moment I arrived, it was clear this was going to be a day rich in emotion. Tye was calm, grounded, and completely in her element — graceful, stylish, and deeply connected to her people. Jeremey was more reserved, steady, and centered, anchoring the day with quiet presence.
The weather gave us pockets of soft light and mood, perfect for intimate portraits and real moments with their crew. Their couples photos were all about authenticity — quiet looks, joyful laughs, and the kind of connection that doesn’t need to be posed.
Even the reception, still buzzing from the vows, carried a tone of honest celebration. There was dancing, storytelling, and a steady stream of joy that never once felt performative.
Why This Wedding Mattered
As a photographer and videographer, I always look for the feeling of a day. The emotion behind the event. With Tye and Jeremey, it was easy — everything about their wedding pointed back to their values. Community. Simplicity. Joy. A little rebellion (they ride motorcycles). A lot of depth.
And the setting? Mountain View Ranch gave them the perfect canvas — rustic yet refined, with built-in beauty whether the sky is clear or overcast.
