Senior year is a big deal — and your senior photos should feel like more than just a formality. Whether you’re into nature, city streets, basketball courts, or quiet moments, my La Crosse senior photo sessions are designed to reflect your story and your personality.
These aren’t about stiff poses or trying to look perfect. They’re about capturing who you are, right now — confidently, creatively, and with a little fun along the way.
What a Senior Session Feels Like
We keep things relaxed and real. You bring a few outfit options and ideas, I’ll bring the camera and direction. We’ll walk, talk, laugh, and make photos that feel like you.
Expect to:
- Move around
- Try different backdrops and lighting
- Be surprised by how natural it feels
- Get a mix of posed, candid, and in-between moments
- End up with images you actually want to share and keep

- Riverside Park – River views, open space, and iconic La Crosse charm
- Your location – Your team’s gym, your backyard, your favorite hangout
We can choose one or a few based on what tells your story best.

A Real Senior Session: Jessa’s Story
I met up with Jessa on August 7th in La Crosse for a senior shoot that included both of her parents. This session was especially meaningful to me — I’ve known Jessa for years, having grown up in the same church community, and it’s been amazing to see her become the young woman she is now.
Basketball has always been a huge part of Jessa’s life. She’s heading to Viterbo University on a basketball scholarship, and honestly, it’s no surprise. Even when we were younger and her family would host grill outs, you could always find Jessa off on the court — getting in her free throws while the rest of us socialized. She’s been putting in the work since she was just five years old.
During the shoot, it took a little while for Jessa to fully open up, but once she started incorporating her love for basketball into the session, everything shifted. Her personality lit up. Her focus, her joy, her strength — all of it came through in those shots.
We decided to turn the session into a combined senior + family shoot, and I’m so glad we did. Her parents jumped in, and we captured some incredible images of the three of them together — moments I hope they treasure for years to come.
Jessa, thank you (and your family) for trusting me with these moments. I’m so excited for your next chapter at Viterbo — and I have no doubt you’re going to do incredible things.
