They knew they didn’t need a ten-hour day or a two-shooter team. What they wanted was someone who could hold space for their story as it unfolded. Someone calm, steady, and intuitive. That’s where Brad came in.

A Weekend Elopement at Justin Trails

Justin Trails is no stranger to rustic elegance and larger weddings—but this time, the venue played host to something quieter. An indoor ceremony was planned after the skies hinted at rain, and the soft, overcast light gave the entire day a relaxed, reflective feel.

Tim and Jen chose to marry in the late afternoon, with our coverage spanning roughly 4 to 6 p.m. Their focus was clear from the beginning: beautiful, heartfelt photos with their children, and a few gentle candids afterward as everyone mingled.

It was an intimate gathering—so intimate, in fact, that a camper was set up for a few guests to visit and stay nearby. The day had a warm, DIY energy to it. Tim and his sons helped break down the ceremony speakers when everything wrapped up. Earlier in the day, he was tying ties and helping the boys get ready. These weren’t just wedding tasks—they were deeply human moments, and Brad was ready to capture them all.

  • Junior Associate (3–5 years of experience)
  • Master Associate (5–15 years of experience)
  • Lead Photographer (Me) for those who want a higher-touch, full-scale experience

What makes these tiers work is the mentorship behind them. Brad, like every associate on our team, was trained and guided by me personally. He learned how to anticipate needs, read energy, adapt calmly, and deliver a full gallery with professionalism and heart.

When you hire a Junior Associate, you’re not getting someone who’s “learning on the job”—you’re getting someone who’s already proven they can do this with consistency and grace.
