When you combine a breathtaking Colorado lakefront venue, a couple with endless personality, and a day full of Jewish tradition and joy — you get something truly unforgettable.
I had the honor of second shooting this wedding at Evergreen Lake House alongside Eric Einstein Wedding Photography, and let me tell you — this day was pure energy. The couple was goofy, vibrant, and clearly loved by everyone around them. It was intimate, meaningful, and so much fun to be part of.
Jewish Traditions with Heart
From the ketubah signing to the smashing of the glass, this wedding was rich with tradition. Guests surrounded the couple with laughter and cheers during the hora, lifting them high into the air in a moment that felt as symbolic as it was joyful. These weren’t just rituals — they were powerful reflections of community and celebration.
The ceremony itself was heartfelt, but the vibes never got too serious. You could feel that this couple loved each other deeply and knew how to keep things light and real. That energy carried through the entire day.
Second Shooting + Video Vibes
While my primary role was second shooting, I also captured bits of video throughout the day — little moments between big ones, candid laughter, warm hugs, and the way the light danced across the lake at golden hour. It’s always a privilege to support another talented photographer and bring in a second perspective on such a meaningful day.
The Perfect Backdrop: Evergreen Lake House
Evergreen Lake House couldn’t have been a better setting for this celebration. With vast views of the mountains, a gorgeous lakefront ceremony space, and a rustic indoor lodge for dinner and dancing, the venue delivered everything you’d want in a Colorado wedding location.
Cocktail hour featured a charcuterie spread on the deck, with guests sipping and laughing while the sun dipped behind the trees. The couple kept things laid-back and warm — a perfect reflection of who they are.
